Heretto Rebranding

The transitiong from easyDITA by Jorsek to Heretto

Jorsek was undergoing a rebrand in addition to building their new software.

Previous Branding

Logo

The previous logo was also confusing for new customers, and the sales team often explained the difference between Jorsek and easyDITA.

The old branding had a limited color palette. Marketing found it challenging to create dynamic ads, and I found it lacking when designing experiences for the new software platform.

New Branding

Logo

The logo simplified the software and company into a single name. It is clean and modern, and the faceted letter mark reflects the conjunction of all of Heretto’s moving parts into one cohesive platform.

Expanded Palette

The new color palette I created opened many new options for the marketing team.
I was also much happier that the palette included new opportunities for building components, particularly elements that needed to provide visual feedback.

Software Type

Marketing Type

Montserrat

A single typeface wasn’t going to work for both marketing and development. I chose Montserrat for its clean, modern looks for the marketing team, and I decided on Roboto for the software for its simplicity and legibility.

Loading Animation

One of my favorite applications for the new logo was the loading animation users would see logging into Heretto. I created this with HTML and CSS and sent it to the engineering team for development.
